Let's Ride!

It's August already?! I told myself that we would have at least one sale every season, well Fall is upon us and that means another sale day is in the works, good news for you! Hustle, hustle, hustle for me!

We just got back into the LC Design workshop after returning yesterday for our week long vacation to my hometown in the armpit of the Black Hills and the 75th Sturgis Rally. One, it is the last vacation together before harvest, I cannot believe it is that time again already! Two, when we vacation I do not think we just relax because our F350 was stacked high with new stuff and we sold stuff while we were home, which is awesome having fans 437 miles away from the basement workshop. Three, we have so many exciting things going on I do not know where to even start and I like telling exciting things but we will keep everyone on their toes and unveil them as they come and trust me, it is always exciting in our world so this is REAL good!

Now lets get to some fun pictures and stories.

First we rode the hills (in the truck) with my family and those who have become family then attended the Full Throttle Saloon, it's not the rally without doing that. Saw some pretty interesting things, little change of pace of SW Minnesota, but that is alright.

We then met up with AcV2 architecture, of course. We love going back to the office where I spent my summer months of 2012 at. We covered some important things like tater tot hot dish, pickles in beer, jello with vegetables in it, how no bar in Sturgis has lemonade, the kids, the business life, new projects and old, southern women, and literally everything in between! Always a good conversation and love that AcV2 has been such great mentors to me over the years and continue to have such a strong presence in my life and the growth of my business.
Then we got some time in with friends, some rain storm basketball games brother vs brother in law, that one is for the books. Paul rode his first horse, hilarious!

We hit Sturgis one last time for food and shirts, successful. Then made our way to Deadwood to the Social Club for dinner, always my favorite!

Then we hit the junkin' train! My mom has a friend she has known since her high school days, we won't say how long ago that was, that collects a lot of junk and sells it. The junk is held all over his property in semi truck trailers, a bus, many tin sheds, wood sheds, and just all over the grounds; which is super awesome and a different change of pace (and price) then auctions and farm places around the area. And it had a killer cute dog that had no idea how hilarious it was.

That night we went to dinner about 10 miles from home and came back to the aftermath of a hail storm. It is not the Sturgis Rally without at least one bad storm. Luckily, it was one of the last days so a lot of people had already left. My parents lost some windows in their unattached garage, the screens on their porch, and some water in the basement. And the truck got some dings, but could have been much worse.

Left some items for some AMAZING customers :)

We then made our way home FULL of some good stuff and Case knew we were getting close as we were welcomed with yet another rain storm.

All in all, great trip! Cannot wait to show what is up next in the LC Design life, let's ride!
